  • Route 84

    From Monday 29th July 2019 the number of journeys operating on route 84 will be reduced during the middle of the day. We are very sorry if this causes any of our regular customers inconvenience.

  • M-tickets

    From 30 June customers with m-tickets on the East Anglia Buses app will notice their ticket appearance has changed and includes a QR code. Your m-ticket needs to be shown to the driver in the usual fashion.

  • Chambers operates route 236

    Chambers of Sudbury will step in from Monday 8th April to run local bus route 236 between Sudbury and Clare, following the withdrawal of Beestons' service. Click below for more information and to view times & fares.

  • Active travel

    The Go-Ahead Group which owns Chambers has worked with Run Friendly and the University of Leeds looking at active travel and the changes we could all make to our daily commute.

  • Colchester Town Centre bus stop changes

    In agreement with Essex County Council and other Colchester bus operators, stopping arrangements for most routes (at the Bus Station and around the Town Centre) will be changing from Sunday 21 October.

  • Timetable changes - Sep 2018

    From 5-Sep on schooldays the 1525 754 from Colchester to Sudbury will serve Thomas Gainsborough School. From 3-Sep route756 will have an additional journey on schooldays from Clare at 1745 to Sudbury (Suffolk Rd); this will connect with the route 18.

  • Chambers staff raise money for Hospice

    Drivers and staff of Chambers have raised £200 for St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds. The money will be used to care for people with life limiting illnesses. A cheque for £400 was given to the hospice as the company matched the money raised.
